Salmon Arm Toastmasters Club.
The Salmon Arm Toastmasters Club was established in 1979 and today has approximately 20 members. In a friendly, relaxed and respectful environment, our members find practical tips to guide them. The support of the group offers the opportunity for members to polish their speaking and leadership skills, enabling them to fulfill their full personal potential.

Our membership is dynamic in age and background, with a wide range of experiences that each member can learn from. In the over 30 years of existence the club has seen many members compete in competitions to a high level throughout the province of BC. We also strive to be a strong part of the community reaching out to others less fortunate and helping to develop bright career paths for driven members.
Toastmasters International is the leading movement devoted to making effective oral communication a worldwide reality.
Through its member clubs, Toastmasters International helps men and women learn the arts of speaking, listening, and thinking -— vital skills that promote self-actualization, enhance leadership potential, foster human understanding, and contribute to the betterment of mankind.
It is to this mission that Toastmasters International continually expands its worldwide network of clubs, thereby offering ever-greater numbers of people the opportunity to benefit from its programs.
You may be asked to give a toast, speak at a board meeting, or make a sales pitch to a potential client. We invite you to visit one of our meetings if you need help with a case of stage fright or you don’t know what to say. Even if you are not deathly afraid of speaking we can improve your existing talents. We meet every Thursday evening at 7:30pm in the library at the Salmon Arm Secondary School Sullivan Campus (1641 30th St, N. E.). Meeting dates change due to holidays and other events, so please check our website at http://www.salmonarmtm.com for current dates or contact Colin at 250-253-2491.
