Local artist opens doors to new school of the arts at Piccadilly

With a passion for teaching, local artist Beve Hietala is realizing her dream this new year with the opening of Beve’s School of the Arts in The Mall at Piccadilly.

The school will offer classes and private lessons in a variety of art forms, as well as provide a gallery for local artisans to show and sell their work.

Beve’s School of the Arts will open Wednesday, Jan. 26, with classes and private lessons in acrylic and oil painting techniques given by Hietala.
